A delivery driver was caught on camera doing a good deed for one of his customers. FedEx driver Melvin J. Marlett was bringing a package to Jodi LaFreniere’s home in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, but before leaving it, he stopped and grabbed a shovel to clear a path on her snow-covered front porch.
She got an alert from her doorbell camera and was surprised to find the Marlett in the midst of his act of kindness. She’s been able to thank him for going above and beyond to help, and says the gesture really made her day.
“I would hope it’s something that anybody would have done,” Marlett says. “If you take care of your customers, they take care of you.”
