U.S. Volunteer Gets First Shot Of A Potential Covid-19 Vaccine

It has been reported that the first phase of a coronavirus vaccine trial began Monday, with a U.S. volunteer getting the first injection.

This will be a six-week course giving 45 healthy adults two different vaccine injections with Dr. Anthony Fauci NIAID stated that this is an important first step.

The CDC wants you to continue to distance yourself and of course, wash your hands.

Even if the vaccine research goes well, it wouldn't be available for wide spread use for 12-18 months.

As of right now, dozens of research groups around the world are trying to create a vaccine against COVID-19.
