Technology can be a great thing, but not for one thief.
Kenneth Braden made a run to a heritage, Tennessee Kroger to steal some toilet paper and beer. The idea was simple: pile the goods in the cart and wheel it out.
The only problem is, the cart has sensors. And when he didn’t pay for the stuff and tried to make his way past the door sensors, the wheels locked. Braden was forced to abandon his stolen goods.
Braden was pulled over a while later by cops, who not only busted him for theft, but for driving on a suspended license.
