Drivers of one St. Louis area street are giving thanks for a mystery pot hole-filling superhero.
Someone got sick of waiting for St. Louis' Streets Department to fill in a huge pothole on Rosebury Avenue and apparently filled it in themselves. The department's director Kent Flake says they have enough money to fill potholes, but not enough workers or dry days to fill the roughly 1,900 holes they know of in the city.
Kent also warned that residents should not take it on themselves to do the patchwork. Home improvement stores are now stocking asphalt patch kits, so it’s a trend.
