Columbia University researchers are saying something that will come as no surprise to some moms. A new study from Columbia’s Aging Center/Mailman School of Public Health shows that raising three or more children could spur the onset of dementia later in life.
Researchers say the study shows that having three or more kids instead of two or one has an effect the equivalent of being 6.2 years older. The study was conducted primarily in Europe, with the worst results coming from Denmark and Sweden.
