The recall of Jif peanut butter products is being expanded.

The initial voluntary recall by Ohio-based Smucker was expanded by the FDA yesterday to include products like Walmart fudge and snacks and candies sold nationwide in most cases. It also includes some Del Monte products with Jif in them. If you have any snacks containing peanut butter bought at 7-Eleven, Wawa, Albertsons, or Safeway throw it out.

It's due to potential salmonella contamination that has caused people to be sick since February. The products being recalled were made at the JM Smucker Company facility in Lexington, Kentucky. You can check the FDA website for product information.

Jif also has a recall form to let you get reimbursed for the products you have to throw away.
