(Salem, MA) -- A Bewitched statue in Salem, Massachusetts, is damaged after a person covered much of it with red paint. Police say a homeless resident was arrested soon after the vandalism yesterday on charges of defacing property, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Witnesses reportedly saw the suspect vandalizing the six foot tall statue and called police. The statue depicts Elizabeth Montgomery, who played the lead in the 1960s TV sitcom Bewitched.
