Man Accused Of Stealing Patrol Car, Responding To 911 Call

(Undated) -- A Colorado man is facing a long list of charges after authorities say he stole a patrol vehicle from a sheriff's station and later responded to a 911 call. It happened earlier this week near Lake George. Jeremiah Taylor stands accused of breaking into a Park County Sheriff's substation and taking off with a car. An emergency domestic violence in progress call came over the radio and officials say Taylor was the first to show up. Dispatchers alerted the real deputies who were then involved in a high-speed chase with the suspect. That resulted in a crash and one officer firing a round at Taylor who was tased and ended up being hospitalized with what were described as self-inflicted knife wounds.
