Mickey Guyton is set to host A Capitol Fourth on PBS Monday, and now the lineup of performers has been announced.
The event, taking place on the West Lawn of the Capitol in Washington, DC, will feature performances by Keb’ Mo’, Gloria Gaynor, Jake Owen, and Yolanda Adams, along with Darren Criss, Andy Grammer, Emily Bear, Loren Allred, Rachel Platten, and the National Symphony Orchestra under the direction of conductor Jack Everly.
In addition, the show will feature a celebration of the 65th anniversary of the original Broadway production of “West Side Story,” with Cynthia Erivo performing "Somewhere.”
This year marks the first time the event is being held in person in two years, due to pandemic cancelations.
