NASA says a new crater on the moon was caused by a "mystery rocket."
The space agency says astronomers discovered a rocket body heading for the moon late last year and impact occurred on March 4th. NASA's Lunar Orbiter spotted the crash site shortly afterward, and new images of the site show a "double crater" over 90 feet wide.
NASA says two large masses at each end of the rocket may have caused the craters. They add, however, the origin of the rocket body remains uncertain.
So far no space-exploring nations have claimed responsibility for the rocket.
