(Undated) -- A New Jersey dog and her owner are now holders of the record for the world's longest walk. Tom Turcich was inspired to walk around the world after the passing of a good friend. Turcich began the journey in 2015 and a few months into his journey, he adopted Savannah. The pair journeyed together across six continents and 38 countries. The trip took seven years to complete and Turcich said he plans to write a memoir about the adventure.
