DONE DEAL! And Vegas-style! First, we had a rumor - and court records obtained by TMZ - showing Benjamin Geza Affleck and Jennifer Lynn Lopez filed for a marriage license in Clark County, Nevada on Saturday night/Sunday morning. But now? Jennifer has confirmed “Bennifer” is now a legal union...and we can see what she wore!
“We did it,” she gushes in a lengthy missive for he "OnTheJLo" newsletter, which was signed off as Jennifer Lynn Affleck — and yes, that's her new legal name. “Exactly what we wanted," she writes. "Last night we flew to Vegas, stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same journey to the wedding capital of the world…for the world to recognize us as partners and to declare our love to the world through the ancient and nearly universal symbol of marriage."
“We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind," she writes. "And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient… Love is a great thing, maybe the best of things-and worth waiting for.” As for the "where?" The world-famous Little White Wedding Chapel in Vegas, which offers a laundry list of celebs who've said their "I do's" there. Jen says she wore a "wedding dress from an old movie" and that Ben sported "a jacket from (his) closet." Congrats to the happy couple!
- A source tells People "It was super, super small. [Jennifer's] mom and kids were there. They just wanted to be married so they got married." And Jen's newsletter appears to confirm that. "Best night of our lives," Jennifer adds. "Thank you to the Little White Wedding chapel for letting me use the break room to change while Ben changed in the men’s room."
- JLo also upped the ante and showed off some 'morning after glow' on Instagram yesterday...posting a selfie that reveals her massive green diamond engagement ring now being replaced with a simple wedding band.
- This is Jennifer's fourth marriage and Ben's second. She was previously married to Ojani Noa (1997–1998), Cris Judd (2001-2003) and Marc Anthony (2004–2014), with whom she shares her twins, Max and Emme. This is Ben's second visit to the altar - married to Jennifer Garner from 2005–2018. They share daughters Violet and Seraphina as well as son Samuel.
