Chess Robot Broke A Child's Finger

(Moscow) -- A chess robot will likely be reprogramed after breaking a seven-year-old boy's finger during a match. It happened last week at the Moscow Chess Open. The boy went to make a move when the robot's mechanical arm grabbed his finger and clamped down. Adults rushed in to help free the boy's hand. The president of the Moscow Chess Federation said the boy apparently rushed to move before the robot was ready.
