Vanity Fair has our first look at the new Addams Family - including the title character of the Netflix series "Wednesday." The eight-episode series (executive produced by Tim Burton, four eps which Burton himself will direct) hits the streaming service later this year. The show follows a now-teenaged Wednesday (played by Jenna Ortega), brother Puggsly (Isaac Ordonez), mother Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and father Gomez (Luis Guzman) and a series of murders in the town around Nevermore Academy, the boarding school Wednesday attends. While the core family is pictured, Uncle Fester is nowhere to be seen. "That’s going to be kept secret a little longer. We have no comment on Uncle Fester,” show co-creator Alfred Gough says. “Watch the show.”
