The new season of “The Voice” is just weeks away and this year’s mentors have recruited some big names to be their advisors this year.
After teasing fans on social media, Blake Shelton revealed that he’s brought on Jimmie Allen to help his team, telling "Access Hollywood," "He is just an incredible performer, and he is so focused on what he does and he is clearly such a huge fan of music."
As for Jimmie, there was one definite highlight of getting to work with Blake. "I got to say I hung out with Gwen Stefani's husband," he joked, "No Doubt."
As for Gwen, she chose Sean Paul to be her team's mentor, while John Legend will bring on Jazmine Sullivan to help his team, and newbie Camila Cabello will get some help from Charlie Puth.
Season 22 of “The Voice” kicks off September 19th.
