You may want to pick up some grapes next time you are at the market. That’s because a new study suggests grapes can be good for your health, reducing the risk of getting Alzheimer’s disease and fatty liver disease. It also may add five years to your life. The study was only conducted on female mice, but it found that grape supplements extended their lifespan, boosted metabolism and reduced the risk of fatty liver disease, which can lead to cancer or liver failure, and is linked to Alzheimer’s. Of course, you should take the study with a grain of salt, considering it was partially funded by the California Table Grape Commission.
