President Biden is making headlines on a variety of topics after an interview with CBS' “60 Minutes” that aired last night. Biden said that while Covid is still a problem in the U.S., the pandemic is “over.”
“The pandemic is over," Biden told CBS' Scott Pelley. "We still have a problem with COVID. We're still doing a lot of work on it ... but the pandemic is over. If you notice, no one's wearing masks. Everybody seems to be in pretty good shape."
He also spoke about the FBI raid at former President Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate, calling Trump's storage of classified documents "totally irresponsible." Still, he maintains he hasn’t been briefed on the documents allegedly spirited out of the White House – nor does he want to be,
- As for his future plans? Biden hinted he plans to run for re-election in 2024, but said he hasn't made a "firm decision" yet. “Look, my intention, as I said to begin with, is that I would run again,” he explained. “But it’s just an intention. But is it a firm decision that I run again? That remains to be seen”
