The Baltimore Ravens Are Bringing Back Two Retired Mascots

The Ravens' newest mascots should be familiar names to fans. The team announced that Edgar and Allan will fill in while Poe recovers from a serious injury to his drumstick he suffered in the preseason. The Ravens "hatched" Edgar, Allan and Poe on the field in 1998, but Edgar and Allan retired ten years later. In a video, the pair signed a one season contract for "bird seed only," with "nest expenses" included.
