John Cena Is A Guinness Record Holder For His Charity Work

John Cena is a lot of things: WWE champion, actor, husband, nice guy…and now? He’s officially a Guinness World Record holder! It’s all because of his work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation – and the 650 wishes he’s made real.

Cena got the ball rolling in 2002 when he granted his first wish – and in 2012, granted the organization’s 1000th wish to a fan named Cardon. “I just drop everything,” Cena said at the time. “If I can offer a fantastic experience, I’ll be first in line to do my part.” Apparently so.

To put his work with Make-A-Wish in perspective, in the 42 years that the organization has been around, no one else has granted more than 200 wishes. Of course, his good deeds haven’t been confined to Make-A-Wish. Don’t forget that back in June, Cena surprised a Ukrainian fan who’d escaped the hideous devastation of Mariupol. He’s also been active with the WWE’s anti-bullying campaign since 2011.
