Lots of folks love karaoke, and there’s no doubt some songs are way more popular than others. So, what are the best karaoke songs to sing?
Well, "Billboard" has just come out with their picks for the Top 100 Karaoke Songs Of All Time, which folks are bound to have some strong opinions about. They note that most of the songs on the list are “familiar, accessible, simple without being predictable, and reminiscent of a specific time and place without being hopelessly stuck there.”
So, what is the best karaoke song? Well, according to the mag, it’s Shania Twain’s “Man! I Feel Like A Woman,” with one “Billboard” expert noting, “That’s always a girl-empowerment song that gets the room going. And the best is when a drunk guy sings that song. It’s just the best entertainment.”
- And Shania had some thoughts on the choice. “I think @billboard just crowned me the Queen of Karaoke?!,” she tweeted, “Seriously though, it’s really really cool to see the life that ‘Man! I Feel Like A Woman!’ has taken on and I’m just obsessed with you all….”
- Other songs making the Top 10 include: Backstreet Boys’ “I Want It That Way,” Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive,” Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody,” and Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s “Shallow.”
