There’s something rotten in North Salt Lake City, Utah. The problem is, no one can find it. The rotten meat smell started on Thursday and so did the calls to city officials. Sherrie Pace, North Salt Lake City community development director, drove all over the city and even on the outskirts where the smell was reported, but was puzzled. The police and other authorities could not find the source. Luckily, the evening wind dissipated most of the stench. But will it return?
