The American Music Awards Nominations Are Out

Nominations for the 2022 American Music Awards are out, with Cody Johnson leading this year’s country nominees with three nods, followed by Chris StapletonLuke Combs, Walker Hayes, Carrie Underwood and Morgan Wallen, who each have two. 

Cody is up for Favorite Country Album for “Human: The Double Album,” Favorite Country Male and Favorite Country Song for “Til You Can’t.” He’ll compete in the Favorite Country Male Artist category with Chris, Luke, Morgan and Walker. 

Meanwhile this year’s Female Country Artists nominees include Carrie, Lainey Wilson, Maren Morris, Miranda Lambert and Taylor Swift.

Other Favorite Country Album nominees include Carrie’s “Denim & Rhinestones,” Luke’s “Growin’ Up,” Taylor’s “Red (Taylor’s Version)” and Walker’s “Country Stuff: The Album.”

The 2022 American Music Awards will air November 20th live on ABC from the Microsoft Theater at L.A. Live in Los Angeles. Check out the full list of country nominees below and click here for a complete list.
