A few years ago, retailers decided to open for Thanksgiving. Several retailers reversed course during the pandemic and are sticking with it. To help with your shopping plans, here are the stores that won’t be open on Turkey Day:
- Best Buy. Shoppers can still enjoy holiday deals on the retailer’s website and mobile app
- Bed, Bath and Beyond
- BJ’s Wholesale Club. Stores will, however, open at 7 a.m. on Black Friday
- Costco.

- Kohl’s
- Lowe’s
- Macy’s
- Petco
- PetSmart
- REI
- Target
- TJ Maxx
- Walmart
