The CMA Awards are happening next week and a whole new group of performers have been added to the telecast.
The latest additions include Thomas Rhett and Katy Perry, who’ll team for their collaboration “Where We Started,” as well as Brothers Osborne and The War And Treaty, who’ll team for a salute to the Rolling Stones, with their cover of “It’s Only Rock & Roll (But I Like It),” which drops Friday.
Also added to the show is Ashley McBryde, who’ll be joined by Brandi Clark, Caylee Hammack, Pillbox Patti and John Osborne for the Linda Ronstadt classic “When Will I Be Loved,” and Chris Stapleton and Patty Loveless, who’ll team for a performance of ”You’ll Never Leave Harlan Alive.” There will also be a tribute to the late Jerry Lee Lewis, with Elle King and The Black Keys teaming for “Great Balls of Fire.”
Other additions include Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Reba McEntire, and Cole Swindell. They join previously announced performers Kelsea Ballerini, Kelly Clarkson and Carly Pearce, Lainey Wilson, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Morgan Wallen and Zac Brown Band, featuring Jimmie Allen and Marcus King.
The 56th Annual CMA Awards, hosted by Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning, will air November 9th at 8 pm on ABC, live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
