The pandemic has dampened the craziness of Black Friday for the past two years, and for some that was a good thing. But apparently others missed it because a lot of people are looking forward to heading to the stores right after Thanksgiving.

- And 42% say shopping in-store on Black Friday is more important now that it was pre-pandemic.
Of course, there are a lot of benefits to doing your holiday shopping online.
- 46% say the best part is not having to wait in line.
- 31% say it’s better because you don’t have to stay up all night to get deals.
- And those who do like to shop in store admit there are things that may keep them from doing so like:

- Safety concerns (33%)
- As for what folks are spending, 31% expect to spend more this year due to inflation.
- Overall, the average Black Friday shopper expects to spend $557 this year, up from $441 three years ago.
