Dolly Parton is pulling out all the stops on her upcoming rock album. During her induction at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony on Saturday, she named some of the artists she’s invited to collaborate with her on the album, including Steve Perry, who she said will sing a duet cover of Journey’s “Open Arms” with her.
Perry responded to the story with a tweet on Monday, saying “If Dolly says it’s true, then it must be true…her voice is amazing!” Parton also mentioned Steven Tyler and said she’d be doing “Elton John’s song,” but she didn’t say if she was just covering one of his songs or singing with him on the album.
