Walmart Raises Minimum Wage

Walmart has announced that they're raising the minimum wage for their employees to $14 an hour. That's about a 17% raise for its store workers starting in March. The hikes, however, continue to lag behind competitors like Costco, Target, and Amazon, which have been offering minimum pay of at least $15 an hour for the past two years. Walmart will also be implementing other perks such as adding more degrees to its program that covers college tuition and creating more high-paying jobs at its auto care centers.
