Chase Rice Details New Album "I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go to Hell”

Chase Rice's music career took off about a decade ago when he co-wrote the hit song "Cruise" for Florida Georgia Line. He had several more hits as a recording artist but, as he shared with “Billboard” on Friday, he didn’t feel fulfilled. Now he’s looking to change that with his new album "I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go to Hell.”

In December 2020, he started writing songs for his new album "I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go to Hell" and he wrote every song on the album with the intention of moving away from “bro-country” and being his own artist.

“At first, I thought, ‘Damn, I’m about to make a record that’s about to ruin my career.’ Because people think one thing about you, and they are going to hear this and think you are a liar,” he says. Fans of Rice can decide for themselves if he’s transitioned successfully to his own style of country, with his new album out right now.
