The 2023 CMT Music Awards nominations were announced yesterday morning, and the emphasis seemed to be on newer artists this time out. Kane Brown and Kelsea Ballerini will be co-hosting this year's awards, and is it coincidence, foresight or something else that led to both co-hosts also being multiple nominees? Since both are among the hottest country stars today - we're sure the noms are well earned, and the two are co-hosting the event for the third straight year.
Lainey Wilson led all nominees this year with four; Kane Brown, Cody Johnson and Jelly Roll had three each. The awards air live Sunday, April 2 on CBS from 8 pm ET to 11 pm ET. See the complete list of nominees below:
