A couple in Maine has their product for sale at L.L. Bean, and it’s designed to help you stop clawing your dry skin. Marin Skincare’s Soothing Hydration Cream is qualified to do that since it’s made using lobster protein from fluids inside the creatures.
Marin co-founder Patrick Breeding says they teamed up with a Portland seafood company to get the fluid removed from lobsters during processing to get the protein for their product. The glycoprotein helps lobsters heal wounds and regenerate their claws, so they may be on to something.
