Kenny Chesney gave his mom Karen Chandler a bit of an early Mother's Day present Thursday night - one that unfortunately most of us just can't match. During his concert in Greenville, South Carolina, Kenny - as he usually does - brought tour partner Kelsea Ballerini on stage to perform their hit duet, "Half Of My Hometown." However, this performance would be a little different.
The two brought out Kenny's mom - and Kenny and Kelsea joined hands with Chandler as they swayed along and sang the song together. "That’s half of my hometown right there," Kenny said proudly after the first chorus of the tune, pointing at his mom and Ballerini.
There were other guests as well - Lincoln Riley, the head football coach of the USC Trojans, and Dabo Swinney, who is the head football coach at Clemson University. During the show, Chesney dedicated his performance of “Boys Of Fall” to Riley and Swinney. But as special as those guests were - nothing compares to mom.
