These Stores Will Honor Your Expired Bed Bath & Beyond Coupons

If you still have a drawer full of Bed Bath & Beyond coupons, don’t throw them away yet. The chain has been closing stores for months in an effort to avoid bankruptcy, but last week, they had to admit defeat and filed for bankruptcy. Now Bed Bath & Beyond is in the process of selling everything off before they go out of business for good.

With the news, the retailer gave customers just a few days to use any of their iconic “Big Blue” 20% off coupons that kept people coming back for decades. But if you didn’t get to shop with yours in time, some of Bed Bath & Beyond’s competitors are honoring those coupons for a limited time.

Here’s where you can use your Bed Bath & Beyond coupons:

  • The Container Store - Your mailer will get you 20% off a single item at any of the chain’s 95 locations through May 31st. The coupon can’t be expired and some brands are not included in the discount.
  • Big Lots - They’ll take your 20% off coupon, even if it IS expired, on any purchase of $50 or more through May 7th.
  • Boscov’s - This regional department store offers customers a “coupon exchange” that gives them $10 off an in-store purchase of $50 or more through May 31st. They have locations in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland.
  • JOANN - On Twitter the fabric and craft store announced that they’ll honor 20% off a single item in stores. Coupons can’t be expired and will be valid through their printed expiration date.
