If anyone in music could pull together one of history’s largest collaborations of multi-genre superstars to sing and play on one album, it would be Dolly Parton. The beloved “9 To 5” singer has revealed the lineup for her highly-anticipated “Rockstar” album, and it’s a doozy.
The 30-song album includes A-list music talent from all styles and sounds and is said feature nine original songs and 21 “rock anthems.” “I'm so excited to finally present my first rock and roll album 'Rockstar',” wrote Parton. “I am very honored and privileged to have worked with some of the greatest iconic singers and musicians of all time .... I hope everybody enjoys the album as much as I've enjoyed putting it together!"
Among the stars previously confirmed to record with Dolly on “Rockstar” are Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, P!nk, Elton John and Ann Wilson of Heart. The star-heavy album is due out November 17th, but you can check out the full track list below.
