Country music icon Dolly Parton is set to release her first rock album, "Rockstar," on November 17. The album features 30 tracks, including nine original songs and 21 rock covers, with collaborations from legendary musicians such as Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Elton John, and Stevie Nicks.
The first single from the album, "World on Fire," is out now, and Parton is expected to debut it when she co-hosts the 2023 Academy of Country Music Awards. Dolly says the song speaks to the current state of the world and encourages positive change.
Parton expressed her excitement about the album, saying, "I am very honored and privileged to have worked with some of the greatest iconic singers and musicians of all time, and to be able to sing all the iconic songs throughout the album was a joy beyond measure.”
