Academy of Country Music Awards ceremony is happening on Thursday evening, but the winners for the new female artist of the year and new male artist of the year have already been announced. Hailey Whitters won for new female artist and Zach Bryan won for new male artist. This is the first time either of them have won an ACM award.
Hailey Whitters is best know for her hit "Everything She Ain't.” Zach Bryan also had a hit with "Something in the Orange.” But that’s not the only winner announced so far. Ashley Gorley was named songwriter of the year by the ACM. She has three song of the year nominations going into the awards ceremony.
Country fans can check out the ACM awards on Prime Video starting at 7PM EST on May 11th.
