We tend to shower Mom with gifts on Mother’s Day, but you may not have to. What we buy and what mothers want may be two different things.
The national Retail Federations numbers break down like this: 74-percent buy flowers, 74-percent buy cards, 60 percent buy a special outing.

- Flowers or plants
- An experience
- Something handmade
- Material gift
- Time To Myself
If you don’t have money to spend, celebrate Mama by letting her sleep in, take some of those chores off her list or lighten her load by running some errands.
