After May 31, 2023, the Apple Watch app will no longer support Facebook Messenger, according to parent company Meta. By the end of this month, users will be able to view messages but not reply to them using the Apple Watch.
A notification was recently sent to some users informing them of the change, according to media reports and multiple posts shared on social media.
Meta did not provide a justification for removing the feature.
