We could be closer to a 4-day work week now that more than six in ten U.S. employers like the idea. The job-seekers website ResumeBuilder.com polled nearly a thousand employers and found that 20-percent already have a four-day work week. Another 41-percent said they plan to implement it, at least on a trial basis. If the four-day work week ever becomes standard, it would be the biggest change to the nation's work schedule since 1926, when automaker Henry Ford adopted the five-day work week. Juliet Schor, a Boston College researcher, said in a well-circulated TED podcast. “Productivity stays the same or gets better. Doesn’t cost anything.”
