Chris Stapleton announced a new joint venture yesterday - with bootmaker Lucchese. Both the singer and the bootmaker took to Instagram to make the announcement.
Both sides have ulterior motives, of a sort: Lucchesi gets an A-list country star to endorse their boots, and Chris and Morgane Stapleton get part of the proceeds from the footwear for their Outlaw State Of Kind charity. The organization raises awareness and funds for a variety of causes close to the Stapleton's heart.
Admittedly these are high-end boots; the "Lucchese Bootmaker x Chris Stapleton" collection features three boot designs: The Original, the Old Friend, and the San Antonio - with both suede leather and traditional boot leather. Be ready to part with some cash; the Old Friend starts at around $700; and The Original near $1,200.
