Mickey Guyton has been on critic's radar for quite some time, but she has yet to have her breakthrough on country radio. That may finally change with her new single.
The singer has been teasing an upcoming collaboration for the last week - and finally revealed late Monday that her upcoming single will feature superstar Kane Brown in the passenger seat!
"After much anticipation - by me - I am so excited to share that I'm releasing my new single, 'Nothing Compares to You,' on Friday. And guess what? It is a collaboration, and this collab is just, it's mind-blowing, and I'm so excited," she raved on social media.
"Are y'all ready for this? Are you ready to hear who I'm collabing with? It's...drum roll please...Kane Brown!" Guyton went on to say that the song is titled "Nothing Compares To You" (not to be confused with the Sinead O'Connor pop hit), and we'd all get to hear it when it drops on Friday. She's got the talent; now with the right duet partner in Kane Brown, the mainstream success that has eluded Mickey for years may finally be hers.
Shortly after Mickey's big reveal, she came back to Instagram - and dropped a sample clip of the song.
