The Chris Villa-directed music video for “Guy For That” — which captures Post Malone wearing a “Dolly Parton fan club” hat — premiered weeks after Combs and Post Malone appeared to confirm they have two collaborations together. Combs shared a sneak peek of the then-unreleased anthem on Instagram on July 10, the same evening he and his family viewed his newly-debuted exhibit in the Country Music Hal of Fame and Museum for the first time. Combs asked the “Sunflower” hitmaker: “We doin’ this or what, [Post Malone]?”

“Okay, FINE 😤 but you like this more than the other one?!?! 😈” Posty replied in the comments. Combs called attention to that comment on his Instagram story the next morning, and wrote: “Both songs are TOUGH. 🤔”

“Guy For That,” which premiered exclusively on iHeartRadio 24 hours ahead of its official debut, is the third song to release from Post Malone’s soon-to-debut country album, following “Pour Me A Drink” with Shelton and “I Had Some Help” with Morgan Wallen.
