Parents are starting to think about back-to-school shopping and are set to spend more. According to the National Retail Federation, dollars spent on back-to-school shopping will break records, with a projected $41.5-billion, up from $36.9-billion spent last year. Families with kids in elementary through high school plan to spend an average of $890, while college students and their families are expected to spend over $13-hundred per person. The culprit in the increase is electronics, with 69-percent of shoppers buying electronics or other computer-related accessories this year. Luckily, sales have already begun.
