The grueling heatwave in Phoenix is claiming more records. The National Weather Service says the first took place Tuesday morning when the temperature never dipped below 97 degrees, making it the city's warmest low temperature of all-time. Later, the mercury at Sky Harbor Airport read 119 degrees, the highest Phoenix has seen in six years and a new record for the date. All of Phoenix’s weather records regarding heat have been broken… which is a record in itself.
