In the midst of sexual assault accusations and a career in free-fall because of them, Jimmie Allen has slowly been re-emerging in the last month or so. First in an outing in Delaware with his kids and estranged wife, then popping back up on social media, and saying in a statement the he and wife Alexis Gale are "working to resolve things together as a family." But his latest appearance on social media has people scratching their heads.
Friday, the embattled singer posted on his socials, "I Said What I Said, “ and I’m gonna say it again during my 3-night comedy tour coming this October! ALL shows are invite only, so be sure signup with your e-mail via link in bio to receive the latest news & how to win tix🎤"
It's an announcement that raised some eyebrows, considering the seriousness of the allegations against him. As a direct result of those allegations, Allen and his pregnant wife separated, he was dropped by his record label (BBR Music Group), his agency (UTA), and his publicity firm (Full Coverage Communications). As things stand now legally, the two Jane Does filed suit against the singer, and he recently announced a countersuit.
