A nonprofit in Detroit broke a Guinness World Record by setting up almost 13,000 cereal boxes and knocking them over like dominoes. Move For Hunger broke the record Thursday at the Henry Ford Detroit Pistons Performance Center.
The goal was to break the record of 6,391 boxes which was set by Beach Middle School in New York in 2021. However, Move For Hunger ended up toppling 12,952 boxes, which were set off by Kellogg's mascot Tony the Tiger. The boxes of cereal will now be donated to Forgotten Harvest and Gleaner's Community Food Bank.
