Halloween is just weeks away and if you want to know what everyone will be dressed up as this year, Google’s Frightgeist is back to help. The tech company’s annual microsite uses search data to reveal the top costumes in the country, as well as regionally.
- For the last three years, witches have topped the list as the most searched for costume, but according to Frightgeist, Barbie has taken over the number one spot.
- Spider-Man remains in the top three, but he’s down one spot this year, making room for princess in second.
- The biggest surprise of the year may be that Taylor Swift doesn’t make the top 20, but she is 22nd.
