Walmart wants to help its customers help fight continuing food price inflation with a new ‘Inflation Deal’ that rolls out beginning November 1, 2023. John Furner, President and Chief Executive Officer at Walmart US said “Saving money remains a top priority for our customers, and this holiday season, we’re building on the investments we made last year knowing they need it now more than ever.”
Walmart says that 92% of their customers are concerned about inflation that could impact this year’s holiday celebrations and last year their customers saved over $1 billion on Rollbacks and seasonal baskets.
Customers can purchase two Thanksgiving meal basket options at reduced prices until December 26, so the deal is good for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. Each basket includes ingredients for scratch preparation like turkey (for under $1/lb), ham, stuffing, pumpkin pie, and more. Baskets can be purchased at Walmart.com or on the Walmart app for pickup or delivery.
