While we’re recovering from a sugar hangover and spooky season is wrapping up, it’s time to switch into holiday season mode. Thanksgiving is still a couple of weeks away, but stores are already gearing up for Christmas, including Aldi. The retailer always releases their lineup of gourmet advent calendars on the first Wednesday of November, which they call "National Advent Calendar Day." And that happens to be today (November 1st).
Aldi has options ranging from coffee to beer to dog treats and these are some of this year’s best:
- Bay Island Hot Sauce Advent Calendar - For those who love the heat, this one has 25 individual bottles of hot sauce with flavors like smoky bourbon and habanero. ($14.99)
- Holiday Magic Wine Advent Calendar - The wine calendars are always popular and this year’s features 24 single-serving containers (about 6-ounces each) filled with reds and whites from around the world ($59.99)
