Lucas Swarthout of North Platte, Nebraska, was recently cleaning out the glove compartment in his vehicle when he came across an unplayed $2 Truck$ & Buck$ lotto scratch-off ticket that he’d bought last year and promptly forgotten about. After scratching off the ticket, he soon realized that he’d won the games top prize, a 2023 Ford F-150 XLT 4x4 Crew Cab Flex Fuel truck worth $81-thousand. Initially, Swarthout was concerned about the tax implications of accepting the prize, but decided to go for it when he learned that he’d also be receiving $25-thousand to cover taxes and registration fees for his new ride. Last week, he picked up his new truck at the same Kwik Stop store where he bought the ticket.
