Star Wars fans have reason to celebrate as Blue Milk, the iconic beverage that Luke drinks in his aunt and uncle’s kitchen on Tatooine in the original 1977 film “Star Wars: Episode IV — A New Hope,” is set to hit stores nationwide starting April 17th. The product launch is part of Lucasfilm's "Imperial March" campaign, celebrating Star Wars ahead of the unofficial Star Wars holiday, May the 4th (as in “May the 4th be with you”). Unlike the version served at Disney's Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, which is plant-based and made from coconut and rice milks and with a fruity flavor, the new offering is dairy-based Blue Milk by TruMoo, made with 1% low-fat milk, vanilla flavoring, and blue food coloring. The "Imperial March" campaign will also feature other products including clothing and limited-edition toys, but so far, nothing is getting fans as excited as the Blue Milk.
